Final report in ten volumes of the British commission led by Lord Saville to look into the events on Sunday, 30 January 1972 when British paratroopers opened fire on civil rights marchers in Londonderry, Northern Ireland.  The inquiry took 12 years, cost $300 million, and concluded that the paratroopers lost control and were unjustified in firing upon the marchers.  From the Bloody Sunday Inquiry.
