Suicide Rates in the United States Continue to Increase

Updates trends in U.S. suicide mortality from 2000 through 2016 and describes differences by sex, age group, and means of suicide.  For 2000-2016, the suicide rate increased 30%, from 10.4 to 13.5 per 100,000 population.  From the National Center for Health Statistics
