This paper investigates how attitudes toward the United States are affected by the provision of information.  Urban Pakistani youth were provided with statements describing the U.S. in a positive or negative light.  Finds that anti-American attitudes were high at the outset but information had a meaningful effect on U.S. favorability.  From the Federal Reserve Bank of New York
