5-4 decision of the Supreme Court that a defendant’s age must be taken into consideration in determining when to issue the “Miranda” warning.  The case involved a 13 year old boy who admitted involvement in burglaries after questioning at his school by police,  who did not inform him of his rights before the questioning.  From the Legal Information Institute at Cornell University
