Use of Electronic Medical Records by Ambulatory Care Providers: United States, 2006.

Presents data on the use of electronic medical records by five types of health care providers: office-based physicians, hospital outpatient departments, hospital emergency departments, and hospital-based and free standing ambulatory surgery centers.  The usage ranged from 62% of hospital-based ambulatory surgery centers to 29% of office physicians.  From the National Center for Health Statistics.
