Reports that labor productivity, defined as output per hour, rose in 66% of the detailed service-providing and mining industries in 2007. Unit labor costs rose in 70% of the industries. Service industries covered include utilities, transportation and warehousing, information, finance and insurance, real estate, professional and technical services, health care, food services, and arts, entertainment, and recreation.
