Investigates whether there is a relationship between school-based or informal education programs that focus on air quality and the resulting quality of the air in a region. Reports that air quality actually improved over the course of nearly half the projects, most projects undertook some action to improve air quality, and programs reporting more place-based learning activities were more likely to report improvements in air quality.
