Reporting Critical Safety Data to the Central Criminal Records Exchange

Executive order from Governor Tim Kaine which directs state health and law enforcement agencies to add to the Central Criminal Records Exchange any court finding that an individual is dangerously mentally ill, whether the individual is referred for admission to a mental facility or for outpatient treatment. The effect of the order is to add those referred for outpatient treatment like the Virginia Tech killer to the list used by gun dealers for instant checks. From the Office of the Governor.
