Job Bias Charges Edged Up in 2006

More than 75,000 charges of job-based discrimination were lodged against private sector employers in the FY 2006 period, the first increase in discrimination complaints since 2002. Leading causes for complaint continued to be alleged discrimination based on race,sex, and retaliation. From the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
